AQUAJETS PRACTICE CANCELLATION POLICY
When schools are closed because of weather, the next question for parents and swimmers is often, "What about swim practice?" Since we have our own facility, we are not directly impacted by school closures.
Most importantly, if weather is making driving conditions more difficult, but practices have not been canceled, please use your best judgment. This also applies to swimmers who drive to practice.
All previously planned practice cancellations - for meets, holidays, etc. - are communicated in advance in the weekly email newsletter, which is sent each Tuesday during the season. The calendar is also updated to reflect the changes. Check these two places first.
For more immediate Mother Nature-related issues (or things out of our control such as a problem in the facility), we will communicate cancellations and changes as quickly as possible via text message, email, our Aquajets social channels, and the website. This also applies to weather delays at swim meets. You can also contact your swimmer's lead coach.
